First State Rally pocket knife up for auction
BAXTER — Participants in last month’s HOG Rally got the chance to purchase numbered, limited edition pocket knives while exploring the Putnam County area. Now, the No. 1 knife is up for auction, with the proceeds to benefit the Baxter Depot/Welcome Center.
“The Friends of the Baxter Depot feel honored to have been able to offer the first custom numbered pocket knife to commemorate the Tennessee State HOG Rally that Putnam County has been privileged to host 2012, 2014 and this next 2015,” Jeanie Lee, Friends president, said.
The knives were made especially for the Depot by Standing Stone Cutlery. They are engraved with the words “Tennessee State Rally,” an image of a motorcycle riding off into the mountains, and the dates 2012, 2014 and 2015.
The bidding for the No. 1 knife has started at $200, and will be open through Tuesday, June 24.
Those interested in placing bids should call the Lee at 931-260-8667 and leave their bid. There are also still later-numbered knives for sale, which can also be ordered by calling Lee.

Radio show is back on tonight. We got Bill Dodge from Bling's Cycles he used to work with Jesse James at West Coast Choppers then they had a disagreement so Bill said screw Jesse and went and opened his own shop. We won't talk about that though it's all about the new shop.
