Man that sucks. "Wrist pin clip"??? The cheapest part in the motor. What is that a $3 part? Figures.

Better luck ahead for you.

Back from the rideabout. Not too bad on the move, but wasn't nice when stopped. I hadn't ridden the ElectraGlide in 3 weeks or so, and it was nice to get it out for a ride. I do like that bike!

It makes different noises than my Softail. Should I trade it in for a new one?

Gotta keep the internet chatter down as well. Hes a busy guy too with his drag stuff and family things. I want to make sure its done with the utmost detail. He is building himself an identical motor as well which helps. I just want a dang motor I wont have to open up for a few years.
Got it, I'll leave him be.

They say they always run best right before they blow.

I blew up a 468 Chevy in my jetboat once. Seemed like all the world was right before it ate a valve at about 5200rpm. She go boom. Very little usable parts.

Dropped in a 502 crate motor, and she was algood.

Crossed fingers n toes but this low compression 124 with mild head work should be the ticket. Some guys are pushin 160hp with these motors but they say about 50k before it will need heads an cyl.
