Posers' Coffee House, All Bullshit Accepted, Part VI
They are hard on spindles and ball joints....
4:30 am Pensyltucky time and nobody's up yet? Mebbe I should go back in da bed.
Woke up almost an hour ago, laying there rememering it's 'posed to rain in an hour or two and I left a mower outside. Finally got up and clamped a plastic sheet over it, used an LED light stick, so if any neighbors were looking out in the dark, probly wundered what in hell I wus doing out there. Wuddn't be the first time, I got no regular hours.
Hourly forecast starting in a half hour: rain till Sunday afternoon. Might get wet out there... I get a break from tree trimming, mebbe I'll get some of them HF boxes opened up and get that thing on wheels put together.
Oh yeah, had a moment yesterday. Got a nice tree in the front yard of some kind that don't drop a gazillion seeds ever year like the extinct elm did, and the hopefully soon to be extinct ash trees. Have hostas about 2/3's around the base, and a steel lamp pole right where I wanted to put the remainder some day. GF brought some over yesterday, so dug down a few inches around the pole (I'd cut the electric line to it when I moved here, just ordinary interior romex in the ground, dint like that, and the corroded lamp works dint work anyway), small cutoff wheel in air die grinder, had it cut off real quick and... there was a copper gas line in there and I cut through it with sparks showering. Don't know where the other end is, I replaced the house gas line several years ago and there was nothing going out the front of the house. Wasn't any gas coming out of it, but had an "aw ****" second or two. Stuffed some rtv into it and crimped it over, just in case. Sledge hammered the sharp ends down into the pipe, all outta sight with a hosta over it. Now what can I do with a 6' lamp pole...
