back inna mid 80's I drived my high lift ( 33's ) 4 WD from Brooklyn New Yawk to Alabamma , anything over 55 mph and the front end wuddnt ster for sum rezin , a long trip and otsa gas to boot

LOTSA gas! Tires and rims are brand new but his idiot roommate took it out in the recent floods while he was in the hospital so I had to get the plugs changed and a couple coil paks to get the thing ready to drive back, 600 bucks with the airfilter and oil change and still has a durn check engine light though...still it got 13 to 14 at 65 mph so must not be anything major...BTW how did I ever survive without my Garmin...

It is a 4 wheel drive and it has the 5.4 litre. If the rpms fell going up the inclines it would fall flat on its face with the big tires and the A/C going but I learned to turn the OD switch off to keep the Rs up and it would motor right up the hills no problem.
Vaguely remember dose, roll into a tube and slide em under the seat...
