I am brutal when attempting to type on a phone. If I ever tried to text and drive two things would likely happen: 1) the message would be unintelligible, and 2) there would carnage all over the highway.

 

Off to the basement to build a anemometer. I got the plans and all the parts over the winter, but have conveniently put off the assembly until now. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't.

I've got a few stumps (and gonna have a lot more), was thinking of shaving those last 2 or 3" down with a circular saw held a bit sideways; if I get a wedge, would be a lot quieter. Do you know if it'd work that good on green stumps? I'm guessing it wouldn't chunk out like your dried stump. But I have probably 8 or 10 dry ones, too.

The bigger trees have dirt heaves around them, just been using a high pressure nozzle on the hose to rinse the dirt down a little below ground level, then I can get a chain saw a couple three inches from the ground. All I'm concerned with is getting them leveled so I can mow over them. A landscape guy told me a while back If I don't have a pro kill the roots, they'll keep growing back. Let em, the 3 inches left after I mow doesn't bother me. They dry up eventually.

 

It was just a.....suggestion.

 

Some of the gals in those biker events oughta keep their tops on. Or maybe with all the beer the guys are drinking, they look pretty good... I ain't a crowd person; much as I like my Harleys, my favorite riding experiences have been with dirt under the tires and nobody to see for miles.

 

You can always cut a whole in the stump and use an onion bomb, makes a mess but it works.
