Unclogged our storm drain Monday with the help of the Village maintenance man and their back hoe. Filled the hole in with field stone and now my back feels like it.

Shower & shampoo before the daughter got up, and need it again.

Needed to make an appointment with my heart doc, so I decided riding there and doing so would be much more fun than calling it in. 75* and partly cloudy made for a great ride. Took the big road there, and a bunch of little roads coming home.

Kenny, you were absolutely, 100% correct!!! Bwahahahaha!!!! I should have known better.

Hey Haggar, been a while. Last three months has been almost non-stop stuf I don't wanna do. Got a sawsall when I put new windows in the house, greatest old window remover ever made. Does good on smaller tree limbs, too. I had sumac right up against the back of this house when I bought it, pita to get out, hours of digging.

Work on an old house, or overpay for a new one that you're gonna change anyhow. There is now winning. I sure like this house a lot better than I liked our previous house, which was up in the city. A lot more work to be done here, mostly outside, but it keeps me busy and justifies my non-w#rk status.

Yeah Moldie them reciprocating saws are awesome. Shoulda got one years ago & for 20 bucks the thing kicks azz. Far as stumps I had a good size one I let the kids dig out. Told'em if they got it out I'd give'em 20 bucks. They worked on that thing quite awhile. lol Finally got it. & ya can't dig'em out when they are comin up through the concrete without first diggin up the concrete.

All this talk of werk & sawdust, guess I ain't the only one. Retirement wasn't supposed to make me sore all over; feet hurt the worst.

Tree is coming down, but after getting the grandkid out of a neighbor's smaller tree yesterday, decided this tree might be too tempting; they could easily climb above the two story houses and look around; kids ain't gonna be climbing it now. Had 4 or 5 times that many branches to clear out this morning. Tie a bunch of branches to the mower and haul em around back. Red X's, tree's coming down. Doesn't look like hours of work in the pics.

Cleared that rat's nest at the right this morning, bunch of trunks woven together like vines, misery cutting it apart. Was hanging over the neighbor's shed. HIs wife pulled the branches away as I cut them loose, helped the old guy a lot; cleanup and moving the crap is harder than cutting it. Neighbors want to clear a bunch in their yard, too. Gonna have big piles of branches, trunks too. We'll rent a big chipper when everything's cut.

Buncha bushy trees in this corner, cutting it all. Got a start with this pile.

Sure hope a fire doesn't get started, dried pine goes up so easy. These piles are just the beginning.

Growing between our houses. Gonna have to top off the front one, and tie off what's left, don't want it hitting a house. Not a lot of room.
