Dont buy an old house. Fixer uppers always need something done.
Pfftttttt...what else is new?
yup. Replaced the shut-offs under the bathroom sink, both went to leakin when I tried to shut off the water to the sink. They got these 1/4 turn shutoffs now. Pretty cool. I forget why I was shuttin it off but the sink was plugged so I took the trap off so's to run the snake down there & the drain pipe that goes into the wall fell off in my hand. Rusted through. Got a $20 dollar sawzall & some blades from HF, cut the elbow off, cut an old radiator hose & clamped on there then replaced the sillcock out back, it was leakin. Oh yeah the sink aint plugged no more. THEN been trimmin bushes & trees. Filled up the can like 5 times now with tree & bush trimmings. Now I got some stumps from the neighbors tree that I neglectfully allowed to grow up through the concrete so I'm removing those. Cuttin'em flush w/ the concrete. One of'em is like 10" across. This one...
Crazy havin a 30' tree sittin in the middle of a concrete pad. They grew up through the space between the pads.
Now I gotta go to little league.

Yup. I got two beautiful olive trees feedin off my sewer line that needs to be replaced. Least I can sell the trees to cover the cost of replacing the line.
Had a couple of evergreen trees out front some dumbass planted right next to the water main manhole thingy. Roots was pluggin up the main drain. Cut them outta there several yrs ago.
You're preaching to the old house owner, We have a photo of the house from 1924 after they remodeled it.
