Doc, never liked the Dallas/Ft. Worth airport. Always on the wrong side and gotta ride the trains around. Too big, which always means too many idjots!

Airports I hate going to: Atlanta, Chicago O'Hare, DFW, San Fran, LA, Minneapolis, Memphis, anything in New York

Ain't bad: Washington National, Milwaukee, Phoenix, Tuscon, Orange County (Los Angeles area), Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Seattle (last two been a long time, maybe changed). Been in a bunch of little places that don't take more'n a DC9 or even just props, those are always easy to get in and out of. I really don't like flying airlines any more, any of them, don't like being around so many people.

One to ask would be my gf; when we watch travel shows, she tells me more about most places than the narrator, been in more foreign airports than I have stateside.

I used the small airport in Sarasota once, that wasn't bad. For that matter the one in Daytona is easy to traverse.

I like landing on water in Dehavilland Beavers. No crowds, no nothing.

Close, organ wood!

I obtained a large mount of wooden pipe organ pipes for free. Most of them are pretty old, with the oldest being from the 1880's. I am cutting them up for their wood, which so far is either pine or poplar. Straight as an arrow, and nary a knot. Lots of sheets of lead, too. The pipes range anywhere from 2"x2"x24" up to 6"x6"x84" with all manner of sizes in-between, depending on the pitch. I am going to keep one full set, for whatever reason, in original condition.

I have made enough sawdust for one day. I must have a cubic yard of sawdust right now, seeing as I have not emptied the bag in a while.
