Rained cats & dawgz here this morning. Wuz gonna ride the kidz bike over to Willhoits this morning for brunch....that didn't wurk out. Has cleared off pretty good since then but...it's Texas...it's hot...and so humid ya can wring yer shirt out after about 5 minutes.

just got in from france great show great weather great beer & food but sad to say not many vets around the march of time aint it

I am almost ashamed to say that there was not one D-Day related movie on the whole day of the 6th. Not even The Longest Day or The Big Red One. All those guys who went onto those beaches were real men.

Can anyone explain why the people in charge of the Normandy invasion would send the initial guys out there with full packs on their backs?
