Plastic of an area, get a furnace filter to let clean air in and set an exhaust fan on the other side.... painted like that many times.

Friggin paint is way too expensive... gonna have a guy I know paint the softail.... I am so done with that crap... for touch up or small parts, just use an airbrush...

I've been thinking of something like that. Some way of at least keeping the bugs off. When I painted with laquer, wasn't a problem, stuf rubbed out so easy you could pick bugs off, sand the bad spots and polish it out so it looked perfect. New paint's a bit hard for that. Ever done any pearl? Been thinking about trying some of that stuff, too. I've used 2 part catalytic, sure ain't the easiest to use, wasn't forgiving of any oops, either. Thinking of getting a new paint gun, too, mine's about 40 years old, suspect there's better ones now. Airbrush is kinda old, too, but it should still do the job. If I even use an airbrush next time. That fender looked good in the pic, really use a rattle can on that?

Rattle can... haha.. ucarab such a dipstick! I never did pearl, some metalflake back in the day but that was it....
