The good news is it is interior paint.

 

Medals... thought they were all gone when I found this one in one of my tool chests, last winter I think. Grandkid likes it, will give it to him in a few years when he can understand what it is and take care of it. Daughter doesn't seem to have any interest in past adventures, other than to say once she's lucky she was born. It's an air medal from the army, that 6 or 9 is the number of awards, don't remember which number it was. If you flew enough, you got one. Fly a lot, get more. No particular heroic action required. Wudda got my butt chewed if I'd worn it this tarnished. Ain't been shined in over 40 years, probably sat unnoticed in that toolbox over half that.

Been there many times Mark. If I get a chance to run by there again this trip, I will make it a point to see Rick and tell him I know ya....If I get to do any riding this trip it will be on my Kids FatBoy. I'm down here visiting him.
