Got a friend that has a 200 yard range (I don't walk to the back end of his property, only been back there on an atv, many acres) with a big earthen backdrop. Shoots up to 50 cal, doesn't bother anybody. When he has parties, a few folks usually end up adding lead to the hill behind the range; I can't even hear the pistols from the house, only the big stuff. Glad I don't have a setup like that, after buying the ammo, wouldn't have enuf left to gas up the bikes... Browning 50 can use up a month's pension real quick.

Another friend I werked with built a log cabin way up north, cut a line through the trees behind the house for a one lane 100 yard range. Argh, here I sit, where if I took out a couple squirrels with my mini 14, wud have swat knocking down the door. Why'd I ever do this to myself?

Them AR's wud look better if at least one of em hadda 40mm under the main barrel, I jus love those things. Can be fun blowing sumptin apart after ya put a few holes in it.

 

yep...there's not a lot of room on a Duc and they're ridin' 2 UP! Another guy is going with them ,Solo...so he's carryin' some camping stuff.

 

I've had some plaques. Woulda liked more money a lot better. Plaques just get in the way till I finally toss the useless things in the trash. Still got one, engraved glass & aluminum, with a piece of 747 in it, probly woulda really appreciated the money it cost, seems a shame to just toss it, but probly will someday. Or the daughter will, she ain't nostalgic at all.
