Gonna do it!
I "pulled the trigger" today on a deal for another bike. (Never had TWO hogs at the same time...I'm gonna think I'm rich or sump'n!) I found a '93 FLHTCU with low miles, good maintenance and a steal of a price, and it's right-place right-time. 80 inch EVO five-speed Electra Glide...it even has the armchair for the wife.
Pics to follow as soon as I get her home...and more pics when we take off up the coast next summer. I figger, since I wear trifocals now, I'm officially old, and oughta have a bagger.

Nice....that Evo will give your ears a bit more enjoyment over the fuelie Dyna.
(went from an 06 Dyna to an '83 Shovel myself..and yes...an old mans Glide).

BLAM!! And damn!
Talked to the dude.
Told him I was on the way, talked the wife into driving me there and driving the truck home, we drove all the way to Golden Valley (140 miles one-way) and dude says "Just sold it." Not even a sorry for letting me drive that whole distance!
There ain't no smilies effective enough to express my flaming-breath-roaring-anger.

But my carry piece is a Zastava CZ999C chambered for .40 S&W, if you were really curious. It's a sweet piece, closest thing to a Sig P226 at half the price.
How do I but you a bike?

Don't get me wrong...I have no quibbles with the Dyna except the lack of luxury for the passenger. I'm okay to do 500 miles or more a day for days on end...she's -- not so much. Her idea of a vacation is driving a motorhome (to have a potty nearby on the road) but staying at luxury hotels. Talking her into this trip was a major step forward, and I mean to do it however hard I have to work to get that new bagger. I'll find another, it'll be the right one and I'll manage to do it right.
Meanwhile, though...
