Default shifter lube question

Pardon my newbie question but I am relatively new with my Ultra. How exactly do you lube the shifter? I checked the owners manual but did not find it there.

There are no needed areas of the shifter that needs lubrication on my 09. The forward shaft rides in a plastic sleeve. Then you have the helm joints or stock shifter rod. Either way no lube there. Then you have the rear trans shaft. No lube needed here either.
Your good.
