If your speeding or acting like a clown at any big bike rally you deserve what ever ticket gets written. It common knowledge that the LEO's are out on the look out to write tickets.

 

Back in the day when one learned to ride, you just got on and started riding. There was no motorcycle safety courses, just a buddy or maybe some older guy down the street who might know something, if you were lucky. And when another biker gave you a hand signal you didn't understand you either figured it out real quick or asked someone, that's how these things became common knowledge. Nowadays everyone just looks perplexed.

 

Got the tap the other day that LEOs were along the road, gave the guy a thumbs up. I'll tap my head when I see cops to warn others.
