For what it's worth it's still good to go over a few signals before a group ride. Keep spreading the word.

Slightly off-topic, if you cruise with a smart phone nav there's an app called Waze that's also pretty damn good at giving you a heads up of what's ahead.

i use it for any emergency vehicles in their path....cops running radar, ambulance on the scene of an accident, etc.....

Question for all of you seasoned riders out there... how far out do you warn people of a cop on the interstate? I feel like others will disregard after about 5 miles or so, even if they do understand what I'm trying to communicate.

Funny, thought a Yelm cop was gonna get me today too, they are pretty stealthy around here, and the amount of traffic for the roads, and the slow speeds here are ridiculous.

FWIW, I too didn't know about tapping the helmet..
