Please tell what inputs you apply to a dirt bike that will not work a touring bike?

In a past life I flew high performance jets for the AF, you train and train for problems, but you can never control the unknown.

he must think the harley is harder to ride because the throttle is much more predictable than a cr 250 that revs to about 14000rpm and can launch you on your ***. Or the harley is harder to balance with its low center of gravity compared to the top heavy cr 250, Or maybe its harder to ride because all the controls are to big, like 6inch wide pegs and extra wide brake pedals as compared to the micro sized controls on the cr250, Or maybe its so hard to put the bike on the kick stand as opposed to lifting the rear up on a box for the cr.

You obviously are young. Ive broken bones and ripped unmentionables. I have a half of my calf muscle gone from racing junior semis back in the day. My other leg and foot are held together by pins ill ne on meds the rest of my life. I dont need to explain how to ride a dirt bike it all comes naturally but when u get older you get alittle more cautious

I have my wife on the back and two kids at home waiting on me. Wait till you have a serious accident that you never come back from and then get back with me

Try doing what you described with any Harley and then tell me dirt bikes are harder to ride!
But, I get your point. I would say we ride dirt bikes hard, which takes more skill than negotiating a 1000 lb cruiser through the neighborhood.

How's he gonna get back with you if he never comes back from a serious accident?
