ID check at Army post gate

I got turned around when I first arrived at Moody AFB because they required releflective vests in civies during the day. Gate guard wouldn't even let me ride to the BX to get one, had to park it at the visitor center.

The easiest access for me, at least in uniform, is to put my ID in the pocket at the bottom of the left ABU pant leg. If I stop at the gate with my foot on the rear brake the pocket is right there within reach.

I usually keep mine in my right pocket. However I did have it fall out one time and was lucky enough somebody behind me picked it up and returned it. Never thought about in the glove though gonna give it a shot tomorrow.
