Back in the dark ages, I was actually born in PA. Over by Lebanon. Saw my first Harley there back in the late 40's or early 50's. Some guy stopped to flirt with my mom and while he was talking with her, I got too close to the bike and got burnt by the pipes. But it looked cool and all the women seemed to like them, so I wanted one.

A true story for you guys , all this sheep talk rung an old road trip memory from my 86 Sturgis adventure . My estranged youngest brother who was 8 when I left home hooked up with me yrs later got a bike with 2 wks riding experience and wanted to go to Sturgis with me . Kids 19 stone cold big city boy never been near the deep outdoors or camping and off we go for 3 wks . We're up in Montana somewhere pull into this classic nowhere gas grocery place with the old geezer sitting on the porch and there's a bunch of sheep pinned next to the place . Shawn having never seen a lamb before without mint sauce was gawking and started over to look . Bout that time the old guy on the porch hollers , " Don't get to close son that ones the Sheriff's girl and he's a jealous man ." Gotta admit the next 60 seconds were priceless with the old guy laughing his *** off and city boy having a meltdown .
All said and done that was one the best times in my life , got my family back watched this strange kid turn into a man and my best friend during it and we,ve had several epic roadtrip adventures since including 6 wks on harleys running completely amock in Europe . Only person I trust to ride with on some the wild stuff we've pulled .
