Tough post to respond to.

One one hand, I have a neighbor that gets a new Harley about every 3 years. He rides it about 20 miles round trip, 2 or 3 times per year. In his mind, I am sure he thinks he is a biker too.

On the other hand, I feel like I should hide my face and change my screen name.

Dude standing there with a rather clean shovel the biker thing for you is a no brainer , welcome to the swamp man . There's a bunch of old school types in here don't let fast typing rubbies run you over .

Thanks Twizted.
If you like shovels, here are a couple of my other ones.

The red one is my 79 Superglide
The one below is my 67 FLH

Love the 67 , got a 65 pan going to get the restore treatment when I get around to it . Don't have the room for more than 2 bikes and they don't go outside around here . I'm jealous ...

I see we have the same tastes in old iron , nothing like it . Went along the same basic lines on you red one as my daily . Still set up for daily riding & carrying around crap , she strip's down rather nicely for Sunday embarrass the twinky guys rides .

Sweet ride Twizted. Did you chrome the rocker covers or is that a Mothers polish job?
Since you mentioned getting ready to do a pan, let me know if you need any parts or advice. We have a couple of members that have pan's and one of them has a ton of parts he is always looking to swap.

Thanks Tactical. The key is to w*rk (damn, I hate to say that word) hard and make lots of money when you are young, so you can buy new bikes and still hang onto the old ones. Then when you get old enough to retire (yaay) you have a nice collection and can ride every day, and enjoy your remaining days.
