No, you are a confused rider who wants to be a biker judging by that statement.

My 2 cents... Captain Obvious would say that everyone has their own definition of a "biker". I grew up around MCs in the Philly area, including my best friend's dad and his friends, and have my own definition. I can't really explain it...I just know a biker - by my definition - when I meet one and have a conversation with one. I'm a rider. I like all kinds of riding on all kinds of bikes. I am not a 'biker' by my definition, primarily because it has a lifestyle component that doesn't match mine.

There's a whole other dimension to me as well. Are you somebody who knows how to make a bike go, turn and stop...or do you really know how to ride? I run into a lot of people who can sit on a bike and make it go down the road, turn and stop...but relatively few who truly know how to ride. Again, I'd have a tough time explaining the difference...I just know a good rider when I see one...by my definition. For the record, most 'bikers' in my book are also great riders.

Clear as mud I guess...

A motorcyclist or a motor-bicyclist? There's a difference... maybe. I dunno.
I think these labeling pitches are funny, though.

Seems like a fun topic to fight about, though.
