The correct term you are looking for is "Cyclist." Not "biker."

Good point, though I seldom seek the correct term.

Didn't realize I was putting my pecker in a hornet's nest when I started this thread. Just tired of everyone complaining about how someone else cares to enjoy their ride.

Live and let Ride.

I smell bullshit. You knew exactly what you were doing when you started this thread...that's why you started this thread.

I went to a school in Germany with 2500 kids whose fathers were all in the military. I had bright ginger hair and glasses so thick I could even look at a 4watt bulb without being in danger of burning my retinas.
You think I give 2¢ if people do or don't call me something.
I bought my bike for me and the OL. Not for anyone else.

My local HOG all think they are walking billboards. I am sure some of them have had their teeth coloured black and orange. They walk around like the baddest meanest people on the planet. But they are all 260pounds aged 50 and during the week are bank managers etc. so what...they are happy. Doesn't do it for me but they are happy.
People need to stop reading so much into things.

To all the kids that laughed at my hair and glasses at school I salute you....you made me the person I am today.

Yeah, you're right. I go looking to start trouble on this forum all the time. That's why I've been here two years, lurk pretty much daily, and have hardly posted. Just been biding my time, waiting for a chance to stir the pot.

My hope was that those few who start **** about anyone who doesn't fit their idea of what a Harley owner should be would realize that anyone who frequents this forum does so for one reason: they enjoy Harleys. They may not enjoy them in the manner that a someone else thinks is "the way", but they are here for Harleys, to learn about Harleys, to communicate with others who like Harleys. Period.

You really should familiarize yourself with Ghandi and his teachings, then.
