If this thread gets shut down it matters little to me. I am simply entertained by the futility of the wanna be types, those who want us to know how connected they think they are, etc. As for ignoring them, perhaps you are right, but then how would they know what a dip **** they are?

I just joined the Harley Owners family and try to learn as much as possible on the usages and customs. I recently found the Silent Skulls web site and was wondering if this is an hoax to try to get some cash from naive people or there are actually members of this non-club.
Any Silent Skull here ?

have other guys from this riding club or that riding club come up all the time, introducing themselves, asking if i've heard of them, i say, oh yeah, sure i have. then they have their little conversation with me thinking i'm paying attention, they're thinking they're like us, YOU'RE NOT! i walk away laughing.

Hmm. I had forgotten you can just click on someone's user name and see all their posts. That way you can go back and check what someone's been posting on other topics and determine whether they are full of s**t or the real thing. Sadly i believe the scales are heavily weighted on the s**t side. Yes i know some of you will click on my user name. I freely admit sometimes i am wrong and you should never believe anything i say. I mean after all, this summer i was looking at a machine gun mounted on a restored WWII BMW and mistook a MG 34 for a MG 42! How could i ever live that down. To stay on topic there were MC clubs there while i was looking at it.

Yes, Dave, you're right. The difference is if most of us purchase a pair of English loafers we don't immediately think we should be considered a member of Parliament.
