I believe the proper protocol, since you're they're brother seein' as how you ride, you should introduce yourself to each member with a hardy back slap. Be sure to start with the guy with the highest rank within the club as a way to show your respect. I also think if they are drinking beer you deem inferior you should, as a common courtesy, pour it on the floor and order a more deserving brand. Now, as for the food of choice....

Thank you for the insight! Ill give it a try.

Few months back a guy rushed into the local bar with his pregnant wife and two small kids in tow... one kid was about to **** himself so they pulled over at the nearest place with a bathroom.... The bar was filled with PH's and just regular bikers.

Anyway, the guys started talking to the wife who was waiting with the other kid in hand for the bathroom to get free and what you would think would be an unconformable situation for the couple turned out to be a very pleasant exchange of friendly talk and photos.

When it was all said and done the kids took pictures on the bikes by themselves, with the roughest of looking charterers and with their parents.. This type of thing happens everyday across America and yet, people who ride bikes are actually intimated by PH's..

It's always the ones that have no clue about the culture and yet try so hard to emulate it that have no clue.

If your a civilian, not wearing colors of your own then you should just sit down and enjoy your burger and brew like it where any other day....

If your in colors then you should wait for an appropriate moment and introduce yourself.

Bottom line is, if your not in their world you wont be bothered.....Unless you do something stupid but that would get you in trouble with just about anyone, wouldn't it?...Their just people...good, bad or indifferent.....

Kind of funny you mentioned that....

I was having lunch a couple of weeks ago and since I had a little extra time I thought I would go to the barber next door and get my wig busted. The barber shop had tinted windows and since it was cloudy I couldn't see in so I just jerked the door open and took a step in......

That's when I noticed I was the only white guy in the place and believe me EVERYONE was looking at me to see what I would do next. Since I was committed, I walked up to the first guy I saw, one of the barbers, stuck out may hand asked him how he was doing. I think he was too shocked to do any thing but take my hand and shake it. Yeah, I looked like a politician kissing babies but what are you gonna do?

I actually had a pretty good time shooting' the **** with all of the people in there and I think they may have learned a little something about white folks too.
