I can't refrain from throwing in my 2 cents, after all that's what the Internet is for, right? Wait, no that's ****... That's what FORUMS are for, there we go...

Anyhow, I wear what fits, without choking my neck. This is also The United States of America. Nobody has the right to tell me that my $1.00 Goodwill shirt too closely resembles their MC colors, and that I have to remove it, or turn it inside out. That's not how this country works, and just because your MC is in the same county as my home/bar/work etc, don't expect me to kiss your ***, or "do as I'm told or else..."

Maybe they thought it was a Zakk Wydle Black Label Society thing. There has been some problems with that, just google it

Happened to me as a kid (14-ish)
An older kid (17-ish) was bein' a tough
guy and took my Levi jacket & cut em
off. Scared the sh__ out of me.
When my dad got home from work, we rode
over to the McDonalds where it happened.
There happened to be a cop there. I described
him and the dog ugly old LTD he was driving.
The cop knew who it was
Needless to say, I got em back
The disscusion @ dinner that night was
Probl a good idea, if I didn't wear that to school
or out n about riding my 10 speed.
Thinking back (now) that was true.

Googled it. I can see from a distance it could get noticed, once you see it closer there's nothing to do with motorcycles, or clubs, or state/territory. I wonder how many teenagers are running around with their favorite band's shirt and have no idea what it resembles. FWIW, I was a teenage in the 80's and worshipped bands like motorhead, Iron Maiden, slayer, Megadeath, etc, wore a black leather jacket and never even crossed my mind it was a "biker" jacket.

I had my Third Class Petty Officer patch "removed" from my sleeve once. They let me stay in the club and I eventually made it to Senior Chief... I guess that's different.

That's because it wasn't a "biker" jacket any more than my jeans are biker jeans. Lots of different groups have worn leather jackets going back to forever.

Black Label Society is hardly unique as there are tons of bands that use a wide variety of emblems, some of which have rockers and various types of text. Any idiot that challenges someone for wearing a metal t-shirt, or a Harley patch, or a Sons of Arthritis shirt is truly intellect challenged and deserves our pity more than anything else.

Someone gave me a Pollos Hermanos t-shirt as a gift. Hope the cartel doesn't track me down and boil me.
