I"m 70 and catch flack all the time, been rideing since I was 14 started out on a wizard and moved up to a Cushman and on to motorcycles, no beard or chaps, short hair, have been told you don"t look like a biker, most of the time wear jeans, shirt, jacket, boots and a helmet, dress for comfort could care less what people think,

TO ME...
I ride a bike, so I'm a bike rider but I'm not a biker. I was in the early 70s.
TO ME...
A biker is someone who's in a motorcyle club, that has a MC patch. Riding club members aren't bikers, they're bike riders who are just in a club.

Been riding just over 43 years. Ride about 20-60 K a year now days.
Don't drink, smoke or have any ink. The beard comes and goes.
Not a bike in any sense of what that seems to mean now .
I am a rider.
I will buy a round now and then if you need a light the lighter on my RGU works.
If you get drunk and inked I'll get you a ride home.
Ride with a lot of different people

Howdy Gents, now my two cents...
Biker, the term, leans toward MC tough and if thats what that beamer dude wanted for his look then Whatevs.
I see the post the most here is RIDER.
I myself tend toward OPERATOR. It comes from my past works on all types of heavy machines. When I am riding my bike, as some say, I prefer to think of it as operating my motorcycle.
over and out
