Even on days when the ride is only to work and back, compared to when I used to just have my truck, the difference is on a scale I can't measure. When I ride, I get a little more giddyup in my day and I try to ride every day, counting the truck as the Just-in-case back up. Guess that makes me a rider.
Then again, I wear Harley T-Shirts / Bike oriented T-Shirts, rally shirts, have leather, suffer or weather, willingly, all the "Down the nose" looks and sneers I get with that (Sometimes), usually smiling in response since most of those who do HAVE NO IDEA what they're missing, going back to my first point. Guess that makes me a biker.
I traveled all over the world, bunch of times, since childhood as an airline brat and later the military. I knew little of the countryside right here at home. I took up riding to experience that and I am OH SO doing as much of that as I can every day.
I know of no other means that can bring me the satisfaction of a given experience like what being a rider / biker has brought to my life. For me, it's more than enough.
Bottom line, whatever you want to label it, I'm never going back to what life was like before rider / biker.

Some times when I get the munchies but I'm too busy to shut down and eat I just scoop out big spoon full of peanut butter and wash it down with milk. Umm.
