Default Do Saddle Bags Look Dorky On a Dyna??

I've been trying to come up with a set of bags that looks cool on a Dyna and keep failing. They just seem to ruin the looks of the bike. I love the utility of bags, but can't find any I like. The Dyna Switchbacks look pretty cool, and maybe some hard bags would look alright. I've taken a hard look at the T-Sport bags and for some reason I can't warm up to those either. It looks like it was designed to carry a laptop. So what kind of bag would look good on a murdered out club style Street Bob? I may just buy some throwover for trips and forget about it for around town.

Some bikes look great/normal with them. I wouldn't want them on mine but I do have the small, left side bag. I'd have to see some pictures to say yay or nay.

I put bags on bikes for practicality, I don't care what others think. Your opinion may vary.

For trips I use the harley distressed leather bags. They are large enough for my gear. I bought ghost brackets, so I can look cool around town.

You're last idea is the best. I use a backpack on the sissybar for around town and throw overs for trips.

How do you keep throwovers from coming off or scratching up the fender paint?

Here's the ones I put on mine back in 2001. They are H-D parts but I don't remember the part numbers. Worked well and didn't affect to look of the bike too much.

Yep...in general, they look like crap. I have the best looking set I could find and they still look like saddlebags. The only thing is, I am never taking them off...They are too handy and I hate backpacks...

I would have to agree........who cares what the ***** they look like anyway. Your putting them on to serve a function not look cool. I got removable Leatherpros and end up leaving them on most of the time cause I like the convenience. Juz my opinion.

Put a small hand towel under them. You know, the "show towel" that only comes out when you have company over.
