Also, that is money you never get out of your bike if you sell it.

You can get some of it back by switching back to stock and selling of Fleabay or Craig's List, but the return is not a good investment. I have nothing against spending money, as I have a LOT of toys, but rarely do I spend it in machines unless it is for something that will save me money, maintenanace or repair, or make me more comfortable. Out priced chrome doodads do not fit that description!

I guess we all pick where we want to be thrifty and where we want to spend the fun money.

Exactly what I been reading on the focus forums and what mines doing. They say it's most likely a bad ground to body that causing it. Lots of folks with the same problem but no smoking gun. I'm going to have to dig into it this weekend.

WIth the millions if miles of wiring in today's cars, bad grounds can make for a nightmare. You already know that, of course!

My coffee pot is empty, so I guess I better start doing something constructive. Laundry and Costco are the order of the day. Bummer!

Yep, last resort is the damn dealership. Can't afford them to work on it. Cost me half of what the cars worth to get the A/C fixed 6 months ago.
