I welded some sheet metal with coat hangers before... oxycetalene setup... back when I was poor folk....

Bought me a Miller Big 40D many years back... could melt some **** widdat bad boy.... mice got init sme years back and it Cheyrnobeled on me while I was weldin a skid loader bucket...
