Mornin' guys. Back from up North. The turkeys won again this year but at least there were lots of naps down yonder by the crick.

Lived in one for 3 weeks looked the same size as this one, even the same kinda windows on the sides. Also came with 17 million mosquitoes. Next digs was a tent. Tent wasn't big enuf for 17 million skeeters, don't think we ever had more than 4 or 5 million at a time. I looked at a property way south of here, had a 60' two story Quonset hut, got RV, boat, car, whatever peeps wanted outta the snow, rental on the lower part, lotsa storage on top. I wanted that sooo bad, but dint want a 60 mile commute to werk. Also had a conventional barn, big stable, few smaller odds & ends buildings. The mortgage wudda been less than what I got now. Oh yeah, came with a nice house, too. Wasn't for the freakin snow I'da just said, hey, an hour ride to werk ain't bad. That kinda commute (over 20 miles on little 2 lane back country roads) can take hours sumtimes in this state. Guy I werked with said it took him over 8 hours to get home in one snowstorm. No thanks...

Lotsa places like that. I had a brand new Sears battery quit after just a few days. Sears guy said I hadda bring the car in (and no loaner batteries - my problem) so they could check out the charging system & make sure nothing was shorted. Would they charge me for that? Yep. Bought a lot of stuf at Sears up to that point, over 20 years ago, and ain't been a customer there since. They wouldn't even test the battery first. Ran into that kinda thinkin a lot in the airlines; don't do that 4 hour job, try the 2 hour jobs first. Easy way to turn a 4 hour job into 6 or 12.
Just got off the phone with Perry at Rice Lake Harley in Wisconsin they got 12 inches.
