Its from a stripped drain plug. Some quick change oil peoples, not naming no names (coughjiffylubecough) must've stripped it then replaced it with a self tapping plug. Problem is the self tapping plug is leaking now too. Dave's going to try to save him some money by helicoiling it but its still going to cost him about $250 and there's no guarantee its going to work.
