37* here this morning. Just ain't right. Gonna be a nice day, though, and I plan to enjoy it. Is 420 over yet?
Lots of very technical stuff going on in here. Maybe I learned something, but probably not! I do know that I am sticking with my XIED's. All that tuning stuff Cabaru is going through sounds like zero fun. Al, i gots a really big hammer you can borrow whenever you might need it! I also have a nice, new, shiny set of really big wrenches that could be real useful in beating things up, too.

 

I have arecessed Allen bolt, that some moron at the Harley shop rounded off on the inside, that I cannot get to budge. Holds the left passenger board on.

 

I gotta be careful in here talkin' motorsickle technical stuff...don't wanna get put in the penalty box. I think it's more of a mechanical problem than a tuning one. Learnin' enough about this stuff to know I don't know nuttin' about it. Really want to keep it that way, too!

 

Time to take the pup out, get a fresh of coffee, and proceed on with my day. Ya'll have fun now, ya hear!?

 

Lotsa posts on the other side about that..Best one was guy had a stripped strut bolt. One guy told him to put a heat gun on it...like to see the fender after that! Looks like yer gonna be drillin ' the head off

Your tuning/ mechanical deal would have the top of my head look like Kenny's, after I pulled all my hair out!

Didja ever go back to stock and see what that showed? That's the only thing I have to contribute!

 

Probably right. i have one more trick up my sleeve. I ground a Torx socket to fit inside. I'm gonna mix up some Epoxy, drive the socket in, let it set, then see what happens. If it doesn't work, I have a lot of drill bits and a set of taps.
