And one more thing, while I am deliberately not being productive.
I let my doggie out Friday night after dinner so he could have one last romp and settle down for the night, and when I called him in 2 hours later, he had this horrible gash on his face.
My poor pretty little doggie.

Well I'm sorry, but I guess I'm just an old *******. After that crap, about killing herself the other day, I would have takein her home and beat her ***. Then I would have takein away her cell, computer and TV, then I would have beat her *** again. I would not reward that behaivor with a trip to the mall. Did I say I would have beat her ***? Then I would ground her for like 10 years. Did I say I am an old *******? 
Normally, I would have done exactly what you would have. Believe me, I have never shied away from strict punishments for my kids, and Rosa has felt the sting of getting her face smacked for an out burst of bad language or getting smart with me.
But this situation called for a different approach. She got the lecture on the way to the psych ward, and she got time to explain herself. And she had 4 hours of sitting in a virtual fish bowl to do nothing but think about her actions. If you've never been to the psych ward for a PiP evaluation, I don't recommended you try it for your next vacation destination.
This was a genuine call for help, and I heard her loud and clear.

That's what we're thinking too. He likes running full speed through the woods and its possible he got caught up in an old fence or something in the twilight.
