Picking up my daughter from school then in the garage doing the 20k service on my bike. Got new plugs, air filter, tube if neck grease, and plenty of oil.

Not looking forward to it like I thought I would be. I'm tired and I want to sleep, an I need to clean the house.

Also got myself 6ft of 3/4" and 1/4" cold rolled round bar. Gonna play with making a detachable sissy bar rack for my work gear or other crap I want, but not all the time. Wish me luck! Gonna burn some oxy acedaline! I love that smell! If it turns out alright I'll PC it black and run it.

Good luck with that. Fun trying to make stuff from nothing, although you are in over my skill level!

I have some foam covered wire tied own stuff. Imagine a giant twist tie. I put 2 together so it's one piece that's 5'4" long. I bent that stuff around to get the general idea and prove my idea would work. Next I'll weld down pegs to my work table and heat and bent the bar around to the shape I need. The 1/4" will be filler for the frame. A gentle lattice lol.

Not too hard in theory. It'll either be a waste of time and the few bucks I spent on metal, or really cool. Besides, worst case, I'll just down and weld the bar with strait pieces. The PC will cover the ground down welds well I think. If I need to weld that is. I'm hoping the frame can be all one piece. I'll post pics if/when I finish.
