I see a difference between searching a bag or backpack vs a childs person. What happens if something bad happens because the search wasn't conducted?

You know, I wondered why anyone would put a K&N filter on a POS Ford 4 cylinder...
Found out why today. The original air filter is not serviceable. Gotta replace the whole box. Its gotta be among the stupidest things Ford ever done did. Right up there with the Edsel.
