Stop at the hardware store and buy a couple of angle brackets like this
Cut the one side short so you have 1 hole which will line up with the hole in the fairing.....drill the other 2 holes into the end of the fairing bracket......install a couple of 10/32 machine screws and double nut so they won't come loose.....Last repair you'll have ta make.....take ya all of about 1/2 hour ta do the whole mess.

Kinda of outta it tonite doc... give me that shot and it puts my sugar in overkill... prawbly over 3 hunnert... tryin to keep my self awake....werked on my trailer for 5 hrs this afternoon.... tryin to keep functional...
