Morning guys.

The highlight of my morning was Cameron telling me to slow down and watch out for the motorcycles. (there weren't any at the time, but its the thought that counts.)

Softy good luck on your rebuild. Should be bulletproof. I don't think I would ever build any motor over 100/100 without some serious consideration of crank work. At the very least I'd want the lefty bearing for sure. You are definitely making the right choice IMO. Even though I expect to get a nice bump in performance from the cam I am easy enough on the bike i'm not worried about the crank. Don't push the Ultra like I did my built Road King.

Kristy wish you were local. Need the fluid changed in my Silverado tranny. You're at Aamco right? Got almost 80k on her and I also want the filter changed out before its due at 100mk. Because I dont't stretch the intervals I managed to get over 300k on my old Dodge without tranny work. Unheard of for a Dodge around here.

Yep. Nothin wrong with just camming it up. I was fine with just a cam but it wasnt in the cards for me. I hope never to split the cases again!

Don't blame ya. I got a shiver up my spine when I first read about your motor. I have a shirtail relation in his late 60s who took out his bottom end when his tensioners failed. He just shrugged and laughed it off and said "Oh well just a great reason to build a faster bagger" and he put in a bigger crank! Gotta love that guy.

Yep. You would be amazed at how many people never give a thought about the trans until their car stops moving. Even my own close friends ignore me sometimes. My girlfriend has been running with no reverse for a year now. She has a 5 speed and I keep telling her its just the lock out cable that needs to be replaced but she doesn't believe me.

You can still come out to see me. Be a nice little road trip and the weather is great here.
