Ocala is a red neck town and use to be biker friendly. My, how times change.

 

9:50 here now, I might make the local one! Wait, only halfway thru the cuppa and not even half thru the most excellent from my garden 6 month old butternut squash with butter 'n brown sugar. Don't know how food stays fresh so long, but they do. Naw, ain't eatin the whole thing, even half is a whopper of a meal.

 

Yeah they are a changin'. Local cop who showed up couldn't say much, pointed to the microphone on his shoulder as everything now is taped. I got a nice big dent on my doorframe and the next car hit was banged up as well and the two ladies in it actually stopped where it happened putting them at risk. Good thing I turned around and returned to the scene so i could help them and call 911. Oh well pretty cold out there now but need to hose off the bike as my trailer isn't covered.

Finally got the keys to my new home away from home. Got a pic of my office last night



Setting up shop yesterday and today. Doors open for the public on Monday morning.

My secret project is half black, that mean it's half agin as fast? Actually, it probly is, but suspect that's the black motor. Misadventures... hadda front brake lock up when I tried to move a wintered over bike, and gotta replace the rear sprocket on the project.

Ain't rode in Florida in over 40 years, don't want to agin. Wet, hot, and a bazillion little critters in the air that turn into little goo filled kamakazies. Parts of it are kinda purty, though. Took the ex and 9 year daughter through there in an airconditioned cage about 20 years ago, rained about 6 times a day, steambath the rest, was still fun. Doesn't feel like it was that long ago, but the little girl sure ain't little no more. Neither's the ex!
