Don't know why, but that's the first thing I noticed. Sat on a new one today, surprised at how cramped it felt. Damned nice seat, though. I wuddn't want it, jus don't fit me. Why'd I sit on a Wing? Was getting some caliper seals for a scoot (but they dint have them), and the wing was jus there... Had a Triumph Bonneville I admired, though.
