seed won't germinate cover with straw the birds will be kept away, rain will wash seed deep in dirt. When the weather changes all will be well...............so they tell me

Think so Baracu, i was told I could get away with over seeding during the winter as long as the seed doesn't rot. Then I saw i was feeding the the Turkeys. Fescu blend is a buck a pound....I just threw about 50 bucks out the window so will wait till I can get done better
what do have against BIKES?!
Not too many 70 year olds ''germinate'' do they?!
on a serious note grass seed can be thrown down any time.......providing they are sewn in properly,1/4 inch depth, an hayed over too prevent bird feeding......
