Posers' Coffee House, All Bullshit Accepted, Part IV
45 puts a person down real good, gots lots of shock power, but tends not to go through stuff much; hadda guy in my army days cleaning his 45, someone asked if it was unloaded (knowing the guy was a little short upstairs), and the dummy pointed it at a wall and pulled the trigger. The round barely penetrated it's own length in a stud. We were fortunate he at least pointed it at a wall - and the guys next door were damned lucky it hit a stud. Ever been in a room when a gun was fired? Man, that's hard on the ears. I fired an M16 in a mindless kill it before it gets me panic in a room once (unexpected critter), couldn't hear much for a day.
I got some low noise .22 rounds that I use for the coons ( not supposed to discharge a weapon in town) there is never an exit wound. I think they back off on the powder or use a lower grade but the noise is no more than smacking your hands together. Really nice.

When it becomes real ill get some imput from you putzes here. I like revolvers for simplicuity and safty. Ive wanted a 1911 ever sinse I fired one when I was 15 at camp roberts. Shot a grease gun too but pretty sure Ca would frown on that one.
