I have been riding for over 20 years. I can remember when I first started riding older riders telling me there are 2 types of riders, " Those that have been down and those who will go down." Well I'm one of the riders who have been down. Their point being to wear protective gear. I have always worn boots, long pants and a jacket. It just makes sense to me. I see way to many riders wearing shorts, flip flops or sandles. A minor accident can go from a brush yourself off and continue on your way to a big deal, trip to the hospital cause your legs are road rashed, burnt from the hot engine parts and f@cked up feet due to open toed shoes. Just my opinion. Whats yours?
+1 with the "who gives a $hit" crowd.
I really think barefoot with a jock strap and a full face helmet makes a statement. Particularly when riding with rubberfrog.
