My wife would never ride on the back of another man's bike unless she were kidnapped or it was an emergency. And fact is it would be very unlikely that she would have another man ask her to go for a ride.

Can I ask what situation might arise where some strange guy asks my wife or anyone's wife if she wants to go for a ride on his bike?

Wow some of you guys are a little protective. Trust issues maybe?

I'd ride of the bike of another guys bike if I wanted to and I'd let the boyf have another girl on the back of his. Doesn't matter to me, I trust him. And I wouldn't be too happy if he got mad at me going on someone else's bike, not about to be controlled.

I have moved other OLs around and my Wife has been moved between locations by brothers. Trust and respect. It's not some random bar deal/pickup. If I can trust someone with my life and keys to my house, I can trust them to get my wife safe to a location.

Don't you think that there are some situations that are O.K? Like I posted before, as long as your not doing it behind their back. I've ridden on the back of other guys bikes (all friends of my Husband) in situations such as; bike ran out of gas and I rode on the back to get a can filled to fill his tank, quick run to the store while his bike was down, etc. No one thought twice about it as being somehow inappropriate. Sometimes, if your carrying a lot of stuff, it's easier to have the passenger carry it.

Yeah, as long as the husband or wife knows the guy, or girl as the case may be, and trusts them, I think that's the key.

I can't believe how self-concious and insecure people are.

I could care less if she rides with someone....I trust her probably more than she trusts me.
Of course, she rides her own bike 90% of the time, so that's never even a question....but damn, how can you say you love someone and trust them but then get bent out of shape just because they ride on someone's bike, or you have someone ride on yours.
You get pissy and jealous when they ride in someone else's car?
Keep them locked in the house every night and only let them out out with you escorting them to make sure they do stray?

And don't throw the "matter of respect" thing back at me....if you had any respect for them, or vice versa, then you'd TRUST them and not be all jealous and suspicious the moment they're out of your sight.

My Ol' lady says she don't want no other women wrapping her legs around me. On the bike or anywhere else.

i might a hypocrite.. it would go nuts if my wife got on someone else's bike... i'm not too worried about her intentions, just don't trust her safety to anyone else.. i would ride any girl that wanted a ride.. probably wouldn't tell my OL about it, i don't know if she would trust me..
