How old or how much exerience do you need to get respect from miserable old bikers

Ive seen alot on this forum about newbies and pussification of bikers. So i want to know when do you go from being a newbie p*#sy to earning some respect. It seems that alot of people dont remember that they were once a newbie as well, other than the real badasses who popped out of their mother already riding a Harley. just a thought

If it were not for Newbies, there would likely be no Harley Davidson.
And, I could care less if a hard core biker likes me or not. I won't hold it against them.
If it were not for the tens of thousands of us that decided to finally buy a Harley, and spend lots of our hard earned cash with that company, it would have been gone years ago.

Whether or not you respect someone for who they are, there is another kind of respect, I think. It is respect as in 'do not cross'. You usually know it just by seeing it. This guy looks like he demands respect and should get it. You give him plenty of space.
This guy looks... well...
As far as me, I am the hi-vis vest wearing guy so won't be confused with a hardcore rider.

You get this issue with soooo many things.
If they want to be stuck in their ways just leave 'em to it, no point wasting your time on them. Just have fun, do what you like to do. Maybe they'll warm up to you, maybe not. No love lost.
