Scala Rider
#2
I have the Scala Q2 Pro and it gets the job done. The wife and I also wear 1/2 helmets and the Scala fits very well on them. I like the bluetooth (or should I say 2th heh heh) it's a nice feature. I had one go bad and they replaced it with no hassle. I have not tried any other device so can't compare it to others, but would rate it a 7 out of 10.
BTW, are you a dentist?

I am looking at the Scala 9 since you can add so many bikes to it. But, one concern is the half-helmet. I figured I would have to go to a 3/4 style due to wind noise.

Yeah, the wind noise can be a bit much with a 1/2, and even with V&H Long Shots/Big City Thunder Monsters, we can still communicate pretty well. The 3/4 would probably help a lot.

g-4 here, and i like it in a ff helmet.bluetooth to my phone is good, music from fm radio/pandoria from my phone and being able to talk bike to bike is cool. sometimes i ride with my dad, and thats when we have our best conversation seems like. be pataince at first, it will take a bit of learning on your part, so auctully read the manual and work with the buttons.

We use the G4 as well with FF and they work good for us. Made traveling a lot better so we can talk.

Thanks for the info. About decided to buy FF helmets as bad as I dread it. I figure this Winter a FF will be nice since it WILL be warmer inside there. Keep the 1/2's for short trips!
