Some of the threads got me wondering if I should wave at other real bikers while I'm changing the oil on my bike in my driveway?

Wait a minute you change your own oil....... my dealer told me it would void my warranty unless I brought my bike to them for all oil changes every 333.33 miles.

 

They told you 333? They must be ripping me off. Told me every 50. Thats almost once every 2 years for me.

what does oil do anyway? and why does anyone need to change it?

 

Its supposed to leak out slowly and lube your back tire so it rolls good. Come on dude, your riding a Harley and you don't know this stuff?

 

If you don't change your oil ever 17 miles you'll get a serious case of death wobble, I thought you guys were Harley riders?

 

I have a special pair of fingerless gloves. vest with 3 piece MTU patch, and assless chaps hanging in the shop for when I work on my bike, of coarse I do this naked and wave at everyone.

 

I am a real Harley rider.....instead of changing my oil...I learn how to ride that serious case of death wobble like a BOSS...If you do maintenance to prevent the death wobble instead of facing it head on and beating it into submission....you're a *****!

Oh yeah, and I wave to bikers while I'm at my bike in my garage, not changing my oil, but screaming vroom, vroom...uh, I mean potato, potato
