Default 2010 Deluxe rear tire wear

Just had to replace our rear tires on our 2010 Deluxes. At 10,450 miles they were almost shot! We are not aggressive riders but man what a pathetic excuse for a rear tire that Dunlop is! Love the bike and the ride, but it looks like our Florida heat is gonna wreak havoc on life expectancy of rear tires on these Softails!

I think you'll find that to be pretty average, replace the rear tire (Dunlop)on my low rider at right about 10,000, front tire at 20,000.

I WISH I could get that kind of tire life on MY '94 FLSTN!

Seems I tend to go through front tires more often than rear. I guess I am a little heavier on the front brake than some.

If braking is what is wearing down your tires.....you're doing it wrong. ;-)

Just replaced my 200 rear at 4k. I ride pretty aggressive though (my boards are going to need replacing soon as well). I would be happy with the mielage you got.

Nice average. I consume a rear tire of my Heritage every 10.000 miles and a front tire every 20.000 miles. I always ride duo and the climate in Holland is moderate. Not too hot and not too cold. So an average of 10k in Florida with the hot climate is not so bad at all.
