Default Holy Hot Batman!

It was 98 here today. It felt like 110 with the humidity. ATGATT really is felt on these days. I wear a helmet boots, gloves and a mesh jacket today because I was traveling out of the city.. I can tell you this, even at 60+ mph it's hot as hell. Let's not forget the Snakes of Death that are slippery.

So, on account of the hot weather, ride safe and don't forget to hydrate. If wait until you feel thirsty you probably could be dehydrated already. Cold or warm it doesn't matter. I carry both water and Gatorade.

Damn it was hot today. lol

If I was riding around locally I would have skipped the gloves and jacket. The funnest part is sitting in traffic when it's pushing 100 out.

Oh I forgot to mention that I got lost 16 miles (each way) out of the way. I really have a terrible sense of direction so it makes for interesting rides.

We were in the mid 90's yesterday, temp and humidity and sitting at lights was downright miserable.

Just think of all those poor suckers that were trapped in their air conditioned cars and trucks.

After such an early spring, it's been cool and wet here in the Black Hill. I've been restless.

When I lived in South Florida it was really hot. I didn't wear a helmet or jacket in those days. Plus I didn't ride as much as I do now or ride in 90+ days. Now I use the bike as my primary transportation except when I have to shop or run errands that my saddlebags won't accommodate. I just hope we don't get too many 95+ days or I'll have to reevaluate wearing that jacket.

I forgot sunscreen but got lucky I didn't get burned.
