How do I know if I am a "biker"???

Good stuff... My point was not that I want to be a so called biker, nor do I care! But I spent a few years on a different brand of bike and nothing, then I get a Harley and all of a sudden I get classified as a biker from people who don't ride... I seriously don't give a ****, but I just found it funny that the name is basically associated with the bike NOT the person. Is this something that Harley made up so everyone who wants to feel like a bad *** can go drop 25k and be instantly cool??? Or is it just general ignorance that all Harley riders are in a gang and are about to rob you and steal your daughter??? <--- (depends on how she looks)...

This may sound like a simple question but there is a lot riding on it, (no pun intended). Here is my question, I am 36 years old, full sleeve tattoos, shaved head (not by choice), ride a 79 FLH bagger, owned and built 3 bikes in the past, and am a member of a RC, and love to drink beer. I have had bikes for about 10 years but just got my first HD last year... Am I a "Biker"??? On the flip side I am also a Father of 4 daughters, who I love to spend time with, a wife I love to death, a dog and a career. Some people refer to me as a biker but they are usually non riders who do. Not that the title means much to me but I sure as hell don't want to be a poser either.
So tell me, am I considered a biker??? What makes someone be considered a biker???

Real bikers live next to junk yards, people comin & goin at all hours, beer cans layin around all over the place, couple'a pitbulls & kids that need their faces washed runnin around. Main scoot parked on the porch & only leave the house for club business.

A couple clues:
Within seconds of being pulled over, a second squad car shows up.
When somebody says "The Biker did it...". the cops come straight over to where you are.

plenty of people on this forum that are more than willing to let you know, one way or the other.....
personally, don't think real bikers care if you are one or not. Do and be what makes you feel comfortable in your own skin. You sound cool enough to me...:-)
